I hate writing 'About' pages, never quite sure what to write.
where
I live in The Netherlands, somewhere south of one of it’s big cities. It’s not where I’m from, it’s just where I’ve ended up. I’ve lived here now for about 20 years, after spending a lot of time in Scotland (where I grew up) and Ireland.
who
I play a bit of guitar. Not very well, but there it is. I’ve owned many guitars over the years, but the one I have now is the one I’ve had since the early 90s, and features in a lot of photographs over the years, just casually in the background, not getting in the way. A bit like me.
when
I'm a proud Gen-X'er. I’m a sucker for 80s’and 90’s music, culture, and sport. I also have a thing about modern UK history, the period from 1945 to 1996.
anything else?
I work in IT, and Quality Assurance, specifically. It’s not very exciting but it pays the bills. Beyond my work, I have no real interest in computers, or IT generally, just in the games I play on them.
